St. Luke Bookstore and Reading Room

In the course of many years of counseling patients about the meaning of their illnesses, we have found that a ready source of sound, relevant reading materials can be very helpful.   All items in stock have been thoughtfully selected, by our physicians personally, for their potential to promote health in body, mind, and soul.   Most items in the bookstore are priced well below their cover price or suggested retail price.

Comfortable chairs are available for browsers who want to spend time reading.

Healthy bottled refreshments are available, or you can bring in your own coffee from a neighboring business.

Topics include (1) For the Body:   Health and Nutrition, Exercise and Fitness, "Users’ Guides" to Common Medical Conditions,  (2)  For the Mind: Apologetics, Creation Science, History of Christendom, Politically Incorrect Guides, Faith-Fostering Fiction, Periodicals, Good Music and Movies, and (3)  For the Soul:  Bible Study, Devotional Literature, Doctrinal Studies, and Religious Items & Artwork.

Office Art

Some health insurance companies actually now require that participating medical clinics have a "secular" (i.e. this-wordly) atmosphere (so that "no one will be offended.")  While we welcome and respect everyone, we refuse to hide what we value most.  Our "insurance-free" clinic is graced throughout with reproductions of great works by the master artists of Christendom.  If you like what you see, we can order copies for you.
